Marine Technician Development Program
This program at Larsen Marine allows individuals an opportunity to begin or enhance their career as a Marine Technician. Participants will earn while they learn during this 24-month program aimed to guide participants of various skill levels, and we offer competitive benefits throughout. Our ultimate goal is to inspire, educate, and cultivate entry level marine professionals.

High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent
Skilled Disciplines
Paint & Fiberglass
Participants will gain the skills and knowledge to work independently on bottom painting, gelcoat repair, color matching, surface paint, structural and cosmetic FRP glass repair, carpentry work, and other skilled repairs.
Mechanical
Participants will learn how to troubleshoot and repair marine engines and complimentary systems from maintenance to complete overhaul. This includes gearsets, transmissions, sail drives, and stern drives. OEM certifications will be obtained.
Electrical / Electronics
Participants will become skilled at mast wiring, voltmeter usage, battery placement, and system design. In addition, they will acquire advanced certifications relating to electronics installation, corrosion, and system design.
